These kinds of stories encourages women of all ages to dialogue openly, and support each others choices. A young ladies' sexual urges can be confusing--her lesbian desires, for instance--and should know they're normal and healthy, a gift to be cherished and nurtured. This will help her grow up a well-adjusted, confident woman.
Most women are slowly accepting the fact that young, budding girls have a curiosity and, sexual attraction to other women. They know it's normal, healthy, and a major component of their sexuality. Part of their past sexual frustration, in fact, came from being denied their sapphic desires. Barring a major backlash, female sexuality will continue to be liberated from outmoded thinking.
